TORONTO, April 29, 2005
Dione Taylor has been invited to
perform for the Lieutenant Governor's Centennial Gala of the Arts in Saskatoon Saskatchewan on
Thursday May 19th,2005. Dione will experience this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to commemorate Saskatchewan's Centennial and
share the stage with special guests Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada, and His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh
and the world renowned singer-songwriter-artist Joni Mitchell. Performing selections from her debut
CD "Open Your Eyes" and some classic Joni Mitchell compositions, Dione will be part of an all star gala that includes such artists
as Buffy St. Marie, Colin James, Pamela Wallin and Leslie Nielsen. The gala will be nationally broadcast live on May 19th 2005 on
CBC TV at 7:00pm.

TORONTO, February 7, 2005 The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS)
and CTV announced the nominations for the 34th annual JUNO Awards, Canada's Music Awards.
Among the nominees are the key players in Canada's music industry including artists, producers and music industry professionals.
Dione Taylor's debut recording "Open Your Eyes" from Matay Records/Festival received industry acknowledgement
with a nomination for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year! The
JUNOS will be aired on CTV on Sunday April 3rd at 8:00pm.

TORONTO, August 31, 2004 The Urban Music Association of Canada (UMAC)
announced the nominees for the 2004 Canadian Urban Music Awards (CUMAs) at a reception hosted by Canada's Hip Hop Queen, Michie Mee.
The 6th Annual CUMAs, the flagship event on Canada's urban music calendar, will be will be televised live to tape by CBC TV on
Thursday October 21st, 2004 from the John Basset Theatre.
The CUMAs will be nationally broadcast on CBC Television Thursday October 28th, 2004 at 8:00pm.
Representing the jazz category, Dione Taylor and her trio (Archie Alleyne, Pat Collins and Joe Sealy) have been asked to perform a selection from her debut CD "Open Your Eyes" at the awards show.
This will be an event not to miss!

Medal of the Arts, Artistic Director of Jazz at
The Kennedy Center, CBS television's "Sunday Morning")
and his trio in the East Room of the White House.
